Girl Talk... MOTW

There's a bit of mystery about this week's mix. Apparently, the CD from Girl Talk (aka Gregg Gillis) just got an official, CD-pressed release on, ironically - Illegal Art Records! In this mix is almost everything but the kitchen sink. It starts with the vocal from Big Boi (of OutKast) doing "Kryptonite" atop Cheryl Lynne, Stevie Wonder, LCD Soundsystem, Britney Spears, and Elastica - then makes a U-turn into Ciara + Ludacris doing "Oh." It's a really smoothly done, dancefloor filler cut-up kind of mix. You can check out Girl Talk's "Night Ripper" CD here: illegalart.net/girltalk/

Safety Dance (Bmore Stlye)

What's Up! I hope everyone's weekend is going great so far. I had to throw this mid-weekend jam up, so at least you could party safely for tonight! Originally the Safety Dance was cool only because it had a weird video featuring a midget. Now its kicks it up with the addition of some b~more. Check it out below...

Mash - Up Mania

Normally I would only give you one awesome mash-up for the week, but since Im feeling generous, here are three.

The first one is one I did for a buddy at work. He said he had heard it in Chicago, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I just made my own.

This one I heard and right away became one my favorites.  (right click/ save as)

Rounding up the three for this week is a tight jam with the same RHCP beat in the back ground.

Flo Rida -Elevator (ft. Timbaland)

So sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I guess I could have been on hiatus, but then again, I am in the bars on both Thursday and Friday. Whatever the case, I am back with some brand new music. I'm sure most have you have heard of Flo Rida by now, or at least "boots with da furrrrr" in his song Get Low, and who better to work with right now then Timbaland. This track is super tight. I've heard people say that first part sounds like the Halloween theme and I seem to agree. Timbo delivers another super catchy production and I have two different versions for you to try. One is the single and the other is a great extend remix by my boy Docta Dawe. Check both out below.

Kiss Kiss (Dexplicit Remix)

I personally think that the original is overplayed (what song doesn't feel that way these days), but this version kicks... I love the heavy background synth during the chorus.
