Personal Mixes...

What up... So I decided to throw this out there. I am currently looking for some side projects and would love to do something for the fans (YOU!). I've come up with the idea that maybe I can make people short mixes (20 minutes or so) with 4 -5 songs of their pick. I would ask for a small donation and then people can get their mixes. So both Thursday and Friday kicked ass at C.O.'s. If you weren't there, it was definately your loss. On thursday Jose V and I kicked up some fresh electronic music at Club Thursday. Coming off the newly installed lights, the bars feel was great (not to mention it was Valentine's day). So the next day I spun from 10-2 and took a piece of my set from about 1-1:22. Check it out...

Girl Talk... MOTW

There's a bit of mystery about this week's mix. Apparently, the CD from Girl Talk (aka Gregg Gillis) just got an official, CD-pressed release on, ironically - Illegal Art Records! In this mix is almost everything but the kitchen sink. It starts with the vocal from Big Boi (of OutKast) doing "Kryptonite" atop Cheryl Lynne, Stevie Wonder, LCD Soundsystem, Britney Spears, and Elastica - then makes a U-turn into Ciara + Ludacris doing "Oh."
